The Yoichi 12 years has a higher percentage of sherry casks, offering more aromatic complexity than its younger sibling, while keeping the characteristic peat notes, with both mature oak and delicate floral aromas widening the spectrum.
It incorporates a higher percentage of sherry-cask-matured whisky, offering more well-rounded palate, and a bold, powerful taste and complexity than its younger sibling.
Nose: Crisp and fresh. Gentle, weaving smoke whirls above apple peels and crisp pears.
Palate: Medium-body and very crisp. Notes of peels and cut orchard fruits, a little floral note and a subdued peat smoke.
Finish: Long with a little spicy sweetness and smoke.
